Marcelo Feitosa de Paula Dias is an international legal scholar and a sessional academic at QUT Law School. His PhD research is at the forefront of innovation, exploring the role of tracing technology and the responsible use of its data in enhancing international environmental law for the global stewardship of native forests. Through a doctrinal approach, his dissertation delves into the intersection of international law, ecology, science, and technology. It aims to propose groundbreaking solutions on how tracing tools can address global environmental harm and improve the conservation of primary vegetation worldwide.
