Registrations Open - Hub Forum 2025 Townsville
Join us for the Hub's Annual Forum, taking place at the Townsville JCU Campus on 5–6 November 2025. This year’s forum has been co-designed with local and Indigenous partners and will feature a strong regional focus. It will serve as a key platform for knowledge brokering and strategic partnerships, helping to position Queensland as a leader in inclusive decarbonisation.
Over two days we will share emerging insights from the Hub’s work program, highlight opportunities for collaboration, and create space for dialogue around the state’s decarbonisation challenges and opportunities. The program will feature keynote speakers, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities.
Day 1 (Wednesday 5 November) will open with a keynote on Indigenous and regional perspectives in decarbonisation. Sessions will explore key themes shaping Queensland’s transition, and the day will close with an interactive session and an evening networking event.
Day 2 (Thursday 6 November) will focus on the Hub’s current research program and look ahead to its future directions in 2026 and beyond. Participants will engage with interactive sessions designed to shape how the Hub can best support Queensland’s net zero ambitions, drawing on the latest innovations and evidence informed policy-making.
Whether you are directly involved in research, working in government or industry, or part of a community navigating the transition to net zero, this Forum is an opportunity to connect, contribute, and help set the direction for an inclusive decarbonisation journey in Queensland.
